LEADERSHIP ~ EXPERIENCE

Giovanni Feroce began cultivating his diverse leadership skills through business, politics and the military.

He graduated with a BA degree from the University of Rhode Island, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Advanced Management Program; and from the United States John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School’s Civil Affairs Officer Advance Course.

He was also awarded a Doctorate of Business, Honoris Causa, the University of Rhode Island and Honorary Doctor of Business Administration Degree, Rhode Island College.

He was also elected to serve in the Rhode Island State Senate, becoming the country’s youngest state senator at the time; also served as a Commissioner of the Rhode Island State Lottery taking it from $58 million to $456 million in two short years.

He retired a US Army field grade officer, he is an Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom combat veteran and was at one time a Ground Operations Officer and Interagency Operations Officer at United States Central Command. He was the first-ever Liaison from USCENTCOM to the US Government for all six core agencies, CIA, FBI, DEA, Dept of Homeland Security, Dept of State and the Dept of the Treasury.

Former Chief Executive Officer of Alex and Ani, LLC.  He was responsible for building Alex and Ani from a small business into a multi-billion dollar company. A Bryant University study found he created up to 4,000 jobs in Rhode Island in direct and indirect full-time jobs.
